1. Bearing type selection
Angular contact ball bearing:
Features: Able to bear radial load and axial load at the same time, suitable for high precision and high speed applications.
Applicable scenarios: Suitable for high speed motor, servo motor and machine tool spindle motor.
Hybrid ceramic bearing:
Features: Rolling elements made of ceramic materials (such as silicon nitride) are light in weight, have low centrifugal force, are suitable for ultra-high speed operation, and are resistant to high temperature and corrosion.
Applicable scenarios: Ultra-high speed motor, especially in high temperature or corrosive environment.
Deep groove ball bearing:
Features: Simple structure, suitable for medium and high speed motor, low noise and easy maintenance.
Applicable scenarios: Small and medium-sized motors, such as fan motors.
Magnetic suspension bearing:
Features: No mechanical contact, extremely low friction, suitable for extremely high speed and long life requirements.
Applicable scenarios: High-end high speed motor, such as aerospace equipment.
2. Bearing material selection
Ordinary bearing steel: Suitable for general industrial environment, cost-effective.
Ceramic materials: such as silicon nitride, suitable for high speed, high temperature and corrosive environment.
Special alloy materials: such as high temperature resistant alloys, suitable for extreme conditions.
3. Bearing precision requirements
High-precision bearings: For high speed motors, P5 or P4 grade precision bearings are preferred to ensure smooth operation.
4. Bearing lubrication and cooling
Lubrication method: Select appropriate lubricating grease to avoid excessive friction and wear.
Cooling system: Optimize the cooling system to ensure that the bearing maintains the optimal temperature when running at high speed.
5. Installation and maintenance
Installation details: Pay attention to the preload method and clearance adjustment to reduce vibration and extend the life of the bearing.
Regular inspection: Check the wear of the bearing regularly and replace or adjust it in time.
6. Precautions
Avoid overloading and excessive speed: Ensure that the load and speed of the bearing are within the design range.
Environmental adaptability: Select high temperature and corrosion resistant bearings according to the motor operating environment.
