1. Insulation resistance test
Purpose: To detect the insulation condition of the motor windings and prevent leakage and electric shock hazards.
Method: Use an insulation resistance meter (megohmmeter) to measure the insulation resistance between the motor stator winding and the ground, and between the stator windings.
Standard: In general, the insulation resistance should be greater than 1MΩ, and for high-voltage motors, the standard value may be higher.
2. Winding DC resistance test
Purpose: Check the connection of the motor windings and identify poor contact or short circuit problems in the windings.
Method: Use a DC resistance tester to measure the DC resistance of the stator winding and rotor winding.
Standard: The resistance value between each winding should be uniform and close to the rated value.
3. Insulation resistance test (AC)
Purpose: To evaluate the insulation performance and voltage withstand capability of the motor.
Method: Apply a specified AC high voltage (such as 2-3 times the rated voltage) to perform an insulation test on the motor.
Standard: The insulation should be able to withstand high voltage without breakdown, and there should be no excessive current or insulation breakdown during the test.
4. Winding insulation strength test
Purpose: Check whether the insulation strength of the winding meets the requirements.
Method: Use an insulation strength tester to perform high voltage test on the winding.
Standard: During the test, the winding should be able to withstand the set high voltage without insulation failure.
5. Temperature measurement
Purpose: Monitor the temperature of the motor during operation to prevent damage caused by overheating.
Method: Use a temperature sensor or infrared thermometer to measure the surface temperature and winding temperature of the motor.
Standard: The operating temperature of the motor should be within the allowable range.
6. Vibration test
Purpose: Detect the vibration of the motor to identify mechanical problems such as imbalance, poor alignment or bearing failure.
Method: Use a vibration analyzer to perform vibration test on the motor and record vibration data.
Standard: The vibration level should be within the allowable range of the equipment.
7. Noise test
Purpose: Check the operating noise of the motor to determine whether there is abnormal noise or mechanical failure.
Method: Use a noise meter to measure the noise of the motor during operation.
Standard: The noise level should meet the standards of the equipment.
