1. Daily inspection
Appearance inspection: Check the appearance of the motor regularly to ensure that there is no obvious damage, cracks or loose parts.
Clean equipment: Keep the motor clean and regularly clean dust and debris, especially the radiator and vents to ensure good heat dissipation.
Check fasteners: Check whether all bolts and nuts are tightened to prevent failures caused by looseness.
2. Electrical system inspection
Check insulation resistance: Measure the insulation resistance of the motor regularly to ensure that it meets the manufacturer's requirements. Low insulation resistance may indicate that the insulation material is aging or damp.
Check wiring: Check whether the wiring of the motor is firm and whether there is any looseness, wear or corrosion. Make sure that all electrical connections meet safety standards.
Check grounding: Make sure the motor is well grounded. Poor grounding may cause leakage and equipment damage.
3. Mechanical component inspection
Check bearings: Check the lubrication of bearings regularly to ensure that the lubricating oil or grease is sufficient and clean. Replace the lubricating oil or grease when necessary.
Check the rotor and stator: Check the rotor and stator for signs of wear or damage, and ensure that there is no abnormal friction between the two.
Check the cooling system: For water-cooled or oil-cooled motors, check the sealing of the cooling system and the level of coolant to ensure that the cooling system is working properly.
4. Regular maintenance
Replace wearing parts: Regularly replace wearing parts such as carbon brushes, grease, etc. to ensure the normal operation of the motor.
Calibration and adjustment: Regularly calibrate and adjust the alignment and balance of the motor to ensure smooth operation of the motor and reduce vibration.
Check the motor windings: Regularly check the insulation and connection of the motor windings, and repair or replace damaged windings in time.
5. Environmental maintenance
Keep dry: Ensure that the working environment of the motor is dry to avoid moisture and corrosion.
Avoid overheating: Ensure that the working environment temperature of the motor is moderate to avoid equipment damage caused by overheating.
Dust and dirt prevention: Keep the working environment of the motor clean to prevent dust and dirt from entering the inside of the motor.
6. Troubleshooting
Monitor abnormal sounds: Pay attention to the sound of the motor when it is running. Any abnormal sound may be a precursor to a fault.
Monitor temperature: Regularly monitor the operating temperature of the motor to ensure that it is within the normal range.
Monitor current: Regularly monitor the operating current of the motor to ensure that it is within the rated range and avoid overload operation.
7. Record and analyze
Maintenance records: Record the content and problems found in each maintenance in detail for easy tracking and analysis.
Fault analysis: Conduct a detailed analysis of each fault, find out the root cause, and take measures to prevent similar faults from happening again.
