1. Correctly select bearings

Choose the appropriate bearing type and specifications: According to the working conditions and requirements of the motor, select the appropriate bearing type and specifications. For motors under special working conditions such as high speed, high temperature, and high load, special bearings that are resistant to high temperature and wear should be selected.

2. Strengthen lubrication

Regularly check and replace lubricants: Reasonable lubrication can effectively reduce the friction and wear of motor bearings. According to the requirements of motor bearings, regularly check the amount and quality of lubricants added, and replace lubricants in time.

Use appropriate lubricants: Select high-quality grease, such as lithium-based grease, to ensure that the performance of the lubricant matches the operating conditions of the motor.

3. Control the operating temperature of the motor

Maintain appropriate bearing temperature: High temperature will cause fatigue and wear of the bearing, thereby shortening the service life of the bearing. Control the bearing temperature within a reasonable range by improving heat dissipation conditions and increasing the cooling of the lubricant.

Avoid overheating: Regularly check the operating temperature of the motor to ensure that it is within the specified range. If the temperature is found to be too high or too low, the cause should be found and resolved in time.

4. Avoid overload operation

Reasonably control the load: ensure that the motor operates within the rated load range and avoid long-term overload. Overload operation will cause the motor bearing to work overload, accelerate wear and fatigue fracture.

Use soft start equipment: In applications with frequent start and stop, add soft start equipment to reduce impact load.

5. Regular inspection and maintenance

Regularly check the bearing status: Check the bearing status every 6 months or according to the frequency of use, add lubricating oil regularly, and clean the residual old grease to prevent bearing wear and clogging.

Cleaning and maintenance: Clean the bearing and the surrounding environment regularly to prevent dust and other impurities from entering the bearing.

Check the fasteners: Ensure the tightness of the bearing assembly to prevent loosening during movement. Loosening of fasteners may cause bearing failure.

6. Anti-rust treatment

Perform anti-rust treatment regularly: If the bearing is exposed to the outdoors or used in a humid environment, perform anti-rust treatment regularly to prevent rust.

7. Correctly install the bearing

Follow the correct installation method: When installing the bearing, follow the correct installation method and technical requirements. Improper installation of the bearing will cause premature wear and failure of the bearing.

Use the right tools: Use the thrust bearing removal tool to smoothly and carefully pull the old bearing off the shaft, taking care to avoid damaging the shaft or bearing seat.

8. Use advanced lubrication technology

Micro-lubrication technology: The use of micro-lubrication technology, gas lubrication technology, etc. can effectively reduce the friction coefficient of the bearing and extend the service life of the bearing.

9. Optimize bearing design

High hardness, high wear-resistant materials: By optimizing the structural design and material selection of the bearing, the bearing's load capacity and wear resistance can be improved. For example, using high hardness, high wear-resistant materials to manufacture bearings can improve the wear resistance and service life of the bearing.

10. Strengthen the sealing of the bearing

Prevent dust and moisture intrusion: Strengthening the sealing of the bearing can reduce the intrusion of external dust, moisture, etc. into the bearing, and reduce the wear and damage of the bearing.
