How to properly replace the bearings of a precision rolling mill motor?

1. Preliminary preparation
Safe power off: First, make sure the motor is completely powered off and locked to ensure the safety of the operator.

3. Cleaning and inspection
Clean the bearing seat: Thoroughly remove the old grease and any residual debris, and ensure that the bearing seat is clean and free of foreign matter.
Check the shaft and bearing seat: Carefully check the surfaces of the shaft and bearing seat to ensure that they are smooth and undamaged. Polish or repair if necessary.
4. Install the new bearing
Apply grease: Apply an appropriate amount of grease to the new bearing to provide the necessary lubrication.
Positioning and installation: Put the bearing in place correctly and ensure that it is aligned correctly. Use an appropriate tool to gently tap the bearing to ensure that it is evenly and firmly installed on the shaft.
Fix the bearing seat: Install the bearing seat back on the motor and tighten the screws with a wrench to ensure that the bearing seat is stable.
5. Reassembly and inspection
Install the end cover: Reinstall the motor end cover in place and ensure that all bolts are tightened to the recommended torque.
Comprehensive inspection: Perform a final inspection to ensure that all parts are installed correctly and there are no foreign objects inside the motor.
6. Test and operation
Pre-power-on inspection: Before re-energizing the motor, perform a visual and audible inspection to ensure that there are no abnormalities.
Running test: After powering on, observe the operation of the motor to ensure that it runs smoothly and without abnormal noise or vibration.
7. Practical recommendations
Follow manufacturer instructions: Always follow the motor manufacturer's instructions and recommendations for bearing replacement.
