1. Anti-surge control technology
Intelligent algorithm and real-time monitoring: Intelligent algorithm and data processing technology are used to monitor the operating status of the compressor in real time. When the system detects potential surge, it automatically adjusts the operating parameters, such as increasing the bypass flow or reducing the speed.
Surge curve and control line: The surge curve is determined by surge test, and the anti-surge control line is set (usually 5%-15% to the right of the surge line). When the operating point is close to the control line, the bypass valve opening is automatically adjusted to increase the return flow.
Multi-level protection mechanism: Set the flow lower limit safety line (FAL) and the pressure upper limit safety line (PAH). When the operating point reaches these safety lines, the bypass valve opens quickly and locks the valve opening to prevent surge.
2. Operation parameter adjustment
Maintain minimum flow: Ensure that the compressor inlet flow is always higher than the surge flow limit (Qp) to avoid surge even at low load.
Adjust the guide vane opening: By adjusting the opening of the inlet guide vane, the flow and pressure of the compressor are changed to keep it away from the surge zone.
Temperature compensation: Since the increase in the suction gas temperature will reduce the performance of the compressor, the throat differential pressure needs to be temperature compensated to ensure accurate calculation.
3. Equipment maintenance and optimization
Regular maintenance: Regularly check and clean the internal components of the compressor, such as the impeller and diffuser, to reduce dust and oil accumulation, and avoid surge caused by flow channel blockage.
Improved design: Optimize the design of the impeller and diffuser to reduce vortex and pressure fluctuations at low load.
Install vibration detectors: Monitor the vibration of the compressor in real time, and take immediate measures once abnormal vibration is detected.
4. Operation and management
Avoid sudden load changes: During operation, try to avoid drastic changes in the compressor load and adjust the operating parameters smoothly.
Reasonable setting of bypass valve: According to the actual operating conditions, reasonably set the opening of the bypass valve to ensure sufficient reflux at low load.
Train operators: Improve the operators' understanding and response capabilities of surge phenomena, and ensure that measures can be taken quickly in abnormal situations.
