Maintenance and Care Recommendations for Large Size DC Motor

1. Regular Inspection
Appearance Inspection: Check whether the motor housing is damaged, deformed or corroded.
Fastener Inspection: Check whether the anchor bolts, coupling bolts and other fasteners are loose.
Operation Status Inspection: Check whether the motor's operating sound is normal and whether there is abnormal noise or vibration.
2. Cleaning and Maintenance
Surface Cleaning: Clean the motor surface regularly to remove dust, oil and debris.
Radiator Cleaning: Check whether the radiator's fins are blocked and clean the radiator regularly.
3. Lubrication and Bearing Maintenance
Grease Inspection and Replacement: Check whether the bearing grease is sufficient regularly and replace the grease if necessary.
Bearing Inspection: Check the operating status of the bearing. If there is abnormal noise or vibration, replace the bearing in time.
4. Electrical Inspection
Insulation Resistance Test: Use a megohmmeter to measure the insulation resistance of the motor regularly to ensure good insulation performance.
Brush and Commutator Inspection: For DC motors, check the wear of the brushes regularly and replace the brushes if necessary.
5. Monitoring and diagnosis
Install monitoring equipment: Install current, voltage, temperature and other monitoring equipment to monitor the motor's operating status in real time.
Data analysis: Regularly analyze monitoring data, evaluate the motor's operating status, and promptly detect and handle abnormal situations.
