1. Performance degradation

The output power is insufficient and cannot drive the load to operate normally.
2. Abnormal temperature
The motor temperature is too high during operation and exceeds the normal operating temperature range.
For example, the housing temperature continues to exceed 80℃ and has not improved after eliminating the heat dissipation problem.
3. Abnormal vibration and noise
The motor vibration amplitude increases, accompanied by strong jitter.
Abnormal friction, impact or buzzing sounds appear.
4. Abnormal current
The operating current deviates significantly from the rated current, whether it is too high or too low.
5. Degraded insulation performance
The insulation resistance measurement value is significantly reduced, which may lead to leakage or short circuit risks.
6. Smoke or odor
Smoke or burnt odor appears inside the motor.
7. Brush wear
For brushed motors, the brushes are severely worn and close to or exceed the use limit.
8. Winding fault
For example, winding short circuit, open circuit or grounding, etc., can be detected through relevant tests.
9. Bearing damage: The bearing may be stiff, stuck, noisy, or even stuck.
